RICHMOND, Va. One firefighter was injured while responding to a fire at a vacant bank on Marlowe Road in Richmond Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to 7012 Marlowe Road for multiple reports of a commercial building fire just before 4:05 p.m.
When crews arrived, they spotted heavy smoke coming from the former Wells Fargo s roof and flames in the drive-thru teller area.
Everything was under control by just before 4:55 p.m., according to officials.

YVR Airport says it is working with RCMP and responding to reports of a police incident outside of the YVR main terminal.
There are multiple unconfirmed reports on social media about a shooting at YVR.
The airport said in a social media message that the facility is currently open and safe, with restricted access.

“We can confirm the situation has been contained at YVR. The airport is open and safe. Flights are operating,” YVR said on Twitter.
Passengers were advised to check with airlines about current flight statuses.

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) One man has been killed, and responding officers were fired upon in a brazen, daylight shooting at Vancouver International Airport that police say is related to the ongoing gang conflict in the Lower Mainland.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called in, and provided an update Sunday evening.
Sgt. Frank Jang says the 28-year-old shooting victim was known to police. No arrests have been made, but he says investigators are looking for at least two suspects. Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage to contact the Richmond RCMP or IHIT.
