Stilt walkers take a closer look at the flags A STUNNING and colourful aerial street canopy of flags has been unveiled in Falmouth as the centrepiece to the extensive Big Spring Clean project. At nearly 200 metres long and comprising over 750 Falmouth-branded flags, the impressive new structure spans the length of Market Street in Falmouth. The new street flags are part of the Big Spring Clean’ project co-ordinated by the Falmouth BID in partnership with Falmouth Town Council. The flags have already proved a huge hit with residents and visitors alike, despite only being installed for a week. A post on the subject via the town’s official Facebook page, which is managed by the Town Team, has received well over 1,000 likes and reached over 45,000 people, with dozens of positive comments also sent into the Town Team office.
