Maritime defence system specialist SEA has been contracted by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to upgrade in-service sonar equipment.
The contract is valued at $34.7m (£25m) and was secured by SEA through a competitive bid process.
The latest contract will see the company design and develop a part of the MoD’s next-generation sonar equipment. This work will help the company to advance its anti-submarine warfare (ASW) solutions.
