Mohamad Abdullatif, 37, of Mt. Brydges, made a virtual court appearance Wednesday on charges of impaired driving causing death, dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and driving without a licence in connection with the July 15 crash that killed Jake Epp, 26, of Aylmer.

Epp was a father of four girls, the oldest aged six. He was heading to work at a concrete forming company at the time of the 7 a.m. crash on Colonel Talbot Road, just south of Highway 401, London police said. He died later in hospital.
