Blue Hill thrift shop serving up fashions again
BLUE HILL To the thrill of bargain hunters and fashionistas, the Turnstyle Thrift Shop in Blue Hill reopened in May after more than a year-long closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There is one solid rule for now.
Customers must wear masks while shopping in the thrift store whether vaccinated or not, said Richard Washburn, president of the board of directors.
The Turnstyle, the sales from which support the adjacent Tree of Life Food Pantry, relies on volunteers for its operation. The majority of those volunteers fall into the high-risk category for COVID-19 because of their age.
