Plans for a new, multi-million dollar medical facility at moving forward at South Padre Island.
The southeast corner of Mesquite Street and south Padre Boulevard will soon be the home of the brand new hospital facility, “SPI Medical Center. A hospital is needed. A hospital is a very specific need at a very specific time, SPI Medical Center Chief Medical Officer Dr. Richard Joe Ybarra said.
