Cartoon SuperTed set for new animation series

More than 35 years since his last show, his creators are set to sprinkle magic dust over SuperTed again and recreate him for a new audience. Work on new episodes is expected to start later this year. It is hoped SuperTed will be back on TV screens by 2023. His return will be the latest cartoon comeback.

Cathaoirleach of MCC says the blame game does nothing in the face of a pandemic The blame game does nothing in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic. That s according to the Cathaoirleach of Mayo County Council Independent councillor Richard Finn. He was speaking at the start of today s monthly meeting of Mayo County Council. He said things have improved since the February meeting of the authority, with the rollout of vaccines, he believes, there is light at the end of the tunnel.  He appealed to everyone to support the government, NPHET, and our healthcare workers in the battle against the spread of the virus.
