Assistant Professor Ricky Stull’s research advances the strategy of using enzymes to degrade nicotine in the body, flushing it from the person’s system without the typical adverse effects, according to a news release from WMU. “People try to go cold turkey all the time. The problem is that there are withdrawal symptoms,” said Stull, who teaches chemistry.
