KALAMAZOO, MI A Western Michigan University professor has found a new way to help you quit smoking.
Assistant Professor Ricky Stull’s research advances the strategy of using enzymes to degrade nicotine in the body, flushing it from the person’s system without the typical adverse effects, according to a news release from WMU.
“People try to go cold turkey all the time. The problem is that there are withdrawal symptoms,” said Stull, who teaches chemistry.
