A Rochester man was ordered to be placed on electric home monitoring for 60 days as part of his sentence on a felony threats of violence charge.
Ricardo Jaime Rivera, 48, was sentenced Wednesday morning in Olmsted County District Court to five years of probation after he pleaded guilty to two charges of threats of violence-reckless disregard terror.
In handing down the sentence, Judge Lisa Hayne ordered a stay of imposition for Rivera. As part of his probation, Rivera must also write a letter of apology to the victim and attend domestic abuse counseling/treatment as directed by his probation agent.
