Dame Darcey Bussell on whether she would return to Strictly Come Dancing

At the time where there hasn’t been any performances it’s been so important to get audiences back into the theatre.” Dame Darcey studied at The Royal Ballet School from the age of 13 and went on to become the then youngest-ever principal dancer at the Royal Ballet in 1989 when she was 20. In 2006 she announced she was retiring as a principal ballerina and in June 2007 performed her last dance. She was made a Dame in the Queen’s 2018 New Year Honours list for her services to dance.

ADRIAN THRILLS: Rag n Bone Man is still singin the blues

Rating: Verdict: Needs an edit Keen to avoid the sophomore slump that afflicts so many artists on that tricky second album, Rag’n’Bone Man flew to Nashville in a bid to step away from the blues and soul of 2017’s Human, a polished debut that topped the charts and turned him into a major star. A change of scenery has certainly had an impact on the imposing singer from Uckfield in East Sussex, who uses Life By Misadventure to try his hand at acoustic folk, Coldplay-like balladry and guitar-driven numbers with a country-rock feel. Such an eclectic approach can sometimes work a treat, but the effect here is merely scattergun.
