Offseason plan/targets
Just spit balling a loose idea/plan for what I believe would be a successful offseason. With the cap at $181 million (& considering rollovers) the Vikings are sitting at 8 million over the cap. Cutting Reiff, Rudolph, Stephen, Bailey & Colquitt gets the team to $16 million under. Beyond that, extending Harrison could create some much needed wiggle room this year and he s definitely earned it as his play is still top level. A restructure of Barr remains possible, but not sure how likely that would be; I would also explore extensions for Hunter & O Neill as their both foundational pieces for the team going forward and players highly rated at their respective positions.
J. J. Watt is going to be given his release from Houston and the Milwaukee area native has expressed a strong appreciation for the Bears and Chicago in the past but would this be a fit at all for 2021?
What should be on the Cowboys 2021 offseason wishlist
The Cowboys offseason will be a busy one but here are things we wish they will get done soon.

The Dallas Cowboys will have a lot on their plate this offseason in terms of putting a team together through the draft and free agency. They will also have to manage who they currently have on their roster by deciding who will stay and who they will cut. This is nothing new for the Cowboys but they will have a few obstacles in their path, mainly the salary cap number, which at this time is still unknown.
Good Morning..Trade Time!!
Now, that you re back after watching and gaining some understanding, what I ll be doing here is putting together a trade package based on Texans media puppet John McClain s report from a couple days ago. You know the one. The one where he reports, Texans will want two 1 s, two 2 s, and 2 young defensive starters at the least for Deshaun Watson ..just a couple weeks after he said there s no way the Texans would trade Watson. But I ll play along here.
So the deal is this - Texans get:
Two 1st round picks from the Raiders
Two 2nd round picks from Carolina via Derek Carr trade
State of the NFC North
The NFC North winds are blowing this winter, and big changes are coming. perhaps more than any other year
Quarterback Changes
It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that all four starting quarterbacks in the NFC North could be new starting next season, but much more likely is the prospect that the Vikings will face two new QBs in the division next season.
In Detroit, the Lions and Matthew Stafford have agreed to part ways after 12 seasons, sending Stafford to the Rams for Jared Goff, a 2022 & 2023 first round pick, and a 3rd round pick this year. Part of the draft compensation the Lions received for Stafford was undoubtedly for assuming Goff’s bloated contract, which locks them into roughly a $33.5 million cap hit in 2021 & 2022.
