Nick & Joe Grout, Keith Lawrenson ROMSEY Male Voice Choir will be back after an enforced interval of nearly 18 months. Live in concert at Romsey Abbey on Friday July 9, the performance will be in support of Southampton Hospitals Charity as part of the Romsey Festival. There will be a mixture of old and new favourites as well as featuring Viola Soloist Rachel Maxey and Tenor Soloist Byron Horne. Choir President Keith Lawrenson said that whilst choir members were keen to get back singing on stage, raising money for charity was the choir’s primary motivation. “This has been such a tough time for everyone and it’s no secret that singers across the country have missed something that does so much for their mental health and that’s true for RMVC. However, first and foremost our Choir Members are keen to support those at University Southampton NHS Foundation Trust who have had a much tougher time battling this awful pandemic – both the patients and the fantastic staf
