Drug probe: Muchhad Paanwala sent to judicial custody as NCB refuses to seek custody
Muchhad Paanwala, Mumbai s famous paan seller at Kemps Corner, who earlier was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Monday, has been sent to judicial custody by a magistrate court in Mumbai. He was sent to judicial custody after NCB did not seek custody of Muchhad Paanwala.

Mumbai’s millionaire and known paan seller, Muchhad Paanwala at Kemps Corner, has been arrested in a drug case by the Narcotics Contol Bureau (NCB) on Monday.
Muchhad Paanwala was arrested on Tuesday following hours of interrogation by the agency. His name had come up after the NCB busted a major marijuana smuggling racket and held a British national and two men from Mumbai’s Bandra in connection with a Marijuana supply ring case.

New Delhi, Jan 12: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Mumbai s millionaire paan seller, Muchhad Paanwala in connection with a drug case.
His name had cropped up after the NCB busted a marijuana smuggling racket. The agency had arrested a British national and two women from Bandra in connection with the supply ring case.

The Muchhad Paan shop at Kemps Corner is run by brothers Ram Kumar Tiwari and Jaishankar Tiwari.
The NCB has arrested only Ram Kumar for drug peddling, while letting off Jaishankar after questioning.
