Former corporators are keeping tabs. Not on their wards, but they’re keeping the
iPads that were given to them. It’s 20 months since their term ended but 95 former corporators are still holding tight to those tabs
Three days after the
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike presented its budget in 2018, and as promised, corporators from 198 wards were given an iPad Air 2 each. The Palike spent Rs 88 lakh on these state-of-the-art devices, despite many corporators saying, that they didn’t know how to use them.
