(WMBF) – Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Monday night in the St. Pauls community. According to information from the St. Pauls Police Department, officers were called to the area of Shaw Street and Fourth Street around 8 p.m. Monday for a shooting. When police arrived, they found the victim, 43-year-old Kristopher Allen, who was pronounced dead at the scene, investigators said.

McAllister was previously wanted after a hit from a DNA profile resulted in Robeson County deputies and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation reopening the cold case and identifying him as a suspect.

North Carolina man accused of killing Manheim woman to appear in court Thursday

The man charged with killing a Manheim woman when he shot into a moving car on I-95 in North Carolina last month has been denied bail and will remain in jail. Robeson County Chief District Court Judge Angelica Chavis McIntyre denied Dejywan Floyd s request for bail at a brief court hearing Thursday morning. She also told Floyd he could face the death penalty. She also appointed a public defender for Floyd. He had previously indicated his sister was going to hire an attorney, but he told McIntyre that she was in hospital. Floyd, 29, of Lumberton, North Carolina, is charged with first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied property.
