Mansfield canine’s calendar helps sponsor assistance dogs MANSFIELD  –  You’ve heard of calendar girls. Mansfield has its own calendar dog.  Bentley is an assistance dog who accompanies School Resource Officer Det. Kenneth Wright on his duties. Bentley has attended the high school graduation car parade, past proms, sports events and recently had a special breakfast with elementary students. Last year, Bentley starred in his own calendar for a good cause – raising money to train other puppies to become assistance dogs. Mansfield High School photography teacher Mary Shea had asked Wright if Bentley would be a model for her students. She then suggested creating a calendar of the students’ work.
