Auckland Police are appealing for witnesses .. after a man s been left fighting for his life in hospital 4 May 2021
Emergency services were called after a man in his 20s fell from a moving vehicle on Mangere s Robertson Road about 8.30 last Wednesday night.
The vehicle believed to be a light coloured van or people mover didn t stop.
Police still want any CCTV footage, and asking anyone in the area at the time to come forward.

Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in our investigation into an incident where a man suffered critical injuries in Māngere.
At around 8.30pm on Wednesday 28 April, emergency services were called after a man fell from a moving vehicle on Robertson Road, near the intersection with Gadsby Road.
The vehicle involved did not stop after the incident occurred.
The man who fell, who is aged in his 20s, was taken to Auckland Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The investigation team are aware of a number of witnesses who came to the victim’s aid immediately after the incident occurred.
Police released images of a light-coloured vehicle they believe was involved.

Detective Senior Sergeant Kepal Richards, Counties Manukau CIB said a number of witnesses came to the victim s aid. Unfortunately, a number of these people did not remain at the scene and police have been unable to speak with them, Richards said.

THE installation of new turning lanes at an Eastern Heights intersection is among several upgrades set to improve driver safety.
Ipswich City Council this week confirmed the major works had been completed at the corner of Robertson and Grange Road.
Works finished ahead of the expected completion date.
Further upgrades included the installation of traffic signals at the previously unmarked intersection, as well as LED street lighting and the reconstruction of some footpath and kerb and channel.
