She told CTVNews.ca by phone on Monday that this day is when “disabled people all around the world commemorate and mourn disabled people who’ve been murdered.” This isn’t a condemnation by the way. PIERREPONT, N.Y. (WWNY) - A chaotic race against time - thatâs how police describe Sundayâs rescue of a Pierrepont couple from their burning home.
The call came in at 10:32 Sunday night: structure fire with entrapment. When police officers arrived at the fire, they saw family members outside and a few firefighters just getting to work.

Mr. Latimer, known to all as Bud, was born July 1, 1931 in Pulaski, PA a son of the late Lyle S. and Helen (Brown) Latimer. He is survived by his beloved wife, June Latimer; brother William Latimer and family; brother Dean Latimer; sister Ann Huntley and family; and sister Carol Streit and family. Bud married June Hewitt on July 1, 1972, in the Colton Methodist Church. Bud and June were married for over 48 years, and made their home in Bucks Bridge.
