Famed defense attorney Tom Mesereau came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he detailed getting into law at his father’s suggestion. He then spoke about being drawn to defend young people suspected of being gang affiliated in the 90’s in L.A. when they were getting life in prison on very little evidence that they were gang members. Tom went on to speak about Johnnie Cochran recommending him to Michael Jackson, which kicked off his career of working with A-List celebrities, including Mike Tyson, Robert Blake, Suge Knight, and Bill Cosby. Tom also addressed current high-profile cases, including Derek Chauvin’s trial, R. Kelly’s upcoming trial, and Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus.

“He just wasn’t funny and he was very critical of the cast and the writing staff. He didn’t realize that you can’t tell somebody they’re stupid on Wednesday and expect them to continue writing for you on Saturday,” said Tim Meadows.
