Wollondilly Council Wollondilly’s successful ‘Love the Dilly’ campaign will be extended to promote the Shire as a visitor destination and support economic recovery, thanks to funding from the State and Federal Governments’ Bushfire Local Recovery Fund. The Love the Dilly Bushfire Recovery Campaign will receive $600,000 for a range of activities aimed at increasing awareness of Wollondilly and growing visitor numbers, including leveraging Destination NSW’s “holiday here this year” program. Wollondilly has extraordinary natural beauty and vibrant heritage towns, emerging as a desirable destination due to its close proximity to Sydney. Building on the recognisable ‘Love the Dilly’ shop, visit and love local campaign which launched in 2020, this campaign will promote Wollondilly in regional and metropolitan areas, including magazine, radio and digital advertising, creation of merchandise, video, billboards and website content enhancements.
