Boat with migrants on board sinks in Venezuela: 14 dead

The Venezuelan government said it had found 14 bodies at sea after the sinking of a boat carrying migrants bound for Trinidad and Tobago. On Saturday afternoon, the Coast Guard found 11 bodies in the waters near the Venezuelan coastal town of Guiria in the northeastern state of Sucre. On Sunday, three other bodies, two men and a woman, were found on the beach. According to initial information, it seems that the boat left on 6 December with more than 20 people on board.
