Temporary service disruptions at Arcola and Radville s health centres extended

Lab/x-ray services at either facility are not affected by this disruption. The disruption in Arcola started on Jan. 15 and was scheduled to come to an end on Jan. 30.  In the event of an emergency call 9-1-1. Residents in the Arcola may visit the emergency department in Estevan, Redvers, Kipling or Weyburn, and residents of the Radville area may visit the emergency department in Weyburn.  Non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 8-1-1. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is working to reopen the emergency department at Arcola Health Centre and Radville Marian Health Centre, as well as inpatient admissions at Arcola, as soon as possible. At this time, they are not able to confirm a date. Staff members have been redeployed to support the SHA’s pandemic response.

Radville care home brightening the holiday season with outdoor decoration setup

  REGINA Staff at a care home in Radville are trying to make the holiday season brighter for residents, by setting up some elaborate decorations. Residents at the Radville Marian Health Care Auxiliary are usually able to have a Christmas party with loved ones, but this year the health centre isn t allowing visitors due to COVID-19 concerns. How tough the restrictions are for the residents is definitely being felt by the staff, we all kind of feel kind of sad about it and its supposed to be a joyous season to be with family and its really hard to meet those needs, Erin Barbarin, an inscope nurse at the Radville Marian Health Centre, said.
