TOLLAND, CT The driver of a car involved in a wild Valentine s Day crash in Tolland is now facing charges.
State police rereleased a report on the incident this week.
The crash took place at 7:43 p.m. on Tolland Stage Road near Doyle Road, state police said.

The driver of a compact sedan, a 28-year-old Enfield resident, was heading west on Tolland Stage Road when he failed to negotiate a turn, according to a report. The car left the pavement and took out a utility pole, a fire hydrant, a stop sign and eventually hit a stone wall, according to a report.

A large group of elderly residents are scrambling to find clinics where they can get their second vaccination shots after two hospitals in Eastern Connecticut abruptly canceled their appointments this week.
Those who had scheduled an appointment through VAMS for or after February 4, 2021, can try to reschedule at an alternate location through the website.
ECHN said that those who need a second dose of either the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna can be scheduled up to six weeks after the first dose without restarting the series.
Other health systems, including UConn Health and Waterbury Hospital, have also had to cancel appointments due to a vaccine shortage. We apologize to those impacted by this cancellation and want to assure you that we are making every effort to receive additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in a timely manner. Please understand this is a temporary delay and we ask for your patience with the process as the demand to receive the vaccine is high, a statement from the health system reads.

VERNON â Efforts are underway to help residents who were displaced by a massive fire that occurred Sunday morning in an apartment complex at 26 Union St.
The Cornerstone Foundation, a faith-based nonprofit that operates two homeless shelters, a soup kitchen, and a food pantry in town, is working to collect donations for the residents of the building, which has been deemed uninhabitable.
The fire displaced 27 people, including four children.
