The night was for kids, those who came with their big brother and those who came with the buddy.
The night was also for kinks – known primarily Tuesday night as nightmarish traffic – and long lines at the concession stands as well.
But if everything wasn’t perfect, some of it was as they finally –
finally! broke the seal on Toyota Field and the Trash Pandas at last played a game in Madison as a sellout crowd of 7,500 clapped, cheered and soaked in the atmosphere.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Anxious Rocket City Trash Panda fans made their way into the stands for the teamâs opening night. Entry to the field seemed to be moving smoothly but quickly became out of control.
Some fans say it took them almost two hours to get into the game, but many say they understand this is all part of the growing pains of having a new team.

The Rocket City Trash Pandas single-game tickets sale starts Saturday!
They’ll go on sale in person beginning at 8 a.m. at the Toyota Field Ticket Office. At 12:01 p.m., they’ll be available online.
You can buy tickets here.
Opening Night is set for May 11 at 6:35 p.m. against the Tennessee Smokies. Toyota Field will operate at 100% capacity for the upcoming season.
