A 33-year-old man has faced court accused of threatening to kill West Australian Premier Mark McGowan.
Gavin Michael Higgs appeared in Rockingham Magistrates Court on Friday facing one charge, accused of issuing the death threat on Wednesday, April 21, about 8.30pm.

Police allege Mr Higgs was walking past the Premier’s Rockingham home when he began hurling abuse and threats towards Mr McGowan’s wife, who was standing on the balcony.

Five men have been charged with the fatal stabbing of a heroic 17-year-old boy who was trying to defend his friend at a party.
Chikayne-Nadante Heslip died in Rockingham Hospital after being stabbed outside the house party in Waikiki, south of Perth, on Saturday night.
Police allege the selfless Mr Heslip had come to the aid of his friends before being chased from the party and attacked by a group of gatecrashers at two different locations.
