A colourful and thought-provoking fibreglass kingfisher has settled in Stonehouse as part of a sculpture trail contributed to by several Stroud artists. It is one of 22 dazzling art pieces which will make up the Kingfisher Trail, organised by the Cotswolds National Landscape, which is set to launch on May 31. The event, which lasts until early October, aims to be a unique way for people to connect with nature in the Cotswold’s this summer. Stonehouse Mayor, Cllr Gary Powell, said: “We are delighted that Stonehouse has been included on the Kingfisher Trail and our sculpture is a really engaging and topical piece of artwork with a Greta Thunberg theme designed by Russell Haines.

JAMES CITY Co., Va. - The body of 34-year-old Russell Hines, who went missing while boating in James City County, has been discovered.
Hines s 29-foot boat was discovered aground with the engine running in the James River, in the vicinity of Gray s Creek near Williamsburg, Monday morning. His boat was found with signs of recent occupancy, the Coast Guard said.
The Coast Guard suspended its search for Hines Tuesday after searching a total of 234 square miles and a total of 45 asset hours.

SURRY, Va. Authorities recovered the body of a boater who went missing in the James River earlier this week.
A Virginia Marine Police spokesperson told 13News Now that someone found the body in the river near Mt. Pleasant Plantation around 8:45 a.m. Thursday.
Marine Police recovered it around 10 a.m. They positively identified the remains as that of 34-year-old Russell Hines.
