It’s a reminder to employees that hybrid work is here to stay, that remote workers no longer are just dial-in observers with an occasional something to say, but now are intrinsic and essential to everyday operations.
“We believe the future of work is hybrid. We’re changing everything about how we learn, how we work,” said Kirsten Marriner, chief people and corporate affairs officer.
Marriner is acting as tour guide to show off the redesigned interior of the consumer product company’s main office in downtown Oakland.

It has been announced that some Tesla Model S and Model X deliveries will be delayed. Some Tesla buyers are saying their order is still set to arrive on time.

Tesla deliveries delayed for Model S and Model X. There have been reports that some orders of the newly refreshed version of the Model S and Model X have had their delivery dates pushed back. Elon Musk said in a February tweet that he was aiming to have production in full swing throughout the second quarter.

When the California Public Utilities Commission recommended 17 months ago that a gas-fired power plant on the Redondo Beach waterfront remain open beyond 2020 over the objections of local officials and clean energy activists Commissioner Martha Guzman Aceves made a commitment to the city’s mayor.
“I pledge to you, Mayor Brand, that I will never support a further extension,” she said.
Now it looks like that promise will be put to the test.
