An accomplished artist and skateboarder, Pope is widely regarded as a creative and marketing force who has had a tremendous influence on skateboarding. Before joining CCS, Russ was the Global Director, Brand Marketing at Converse; prior to that, he worked in brand marketing at Vans. Russ also founded Creature Skateboards at NHS; Scarecrow Skateboards; and, today, owns Transportation Unit, his skateboard brand. Russ’ artwork is exhibited and collected globally.
