YFN Lucci has been released from jail after receiving multiple charges in relation to a fatal shooting in Atlanta.
Upon his release, the rapper appeared to be in a cheerful mood as he posed for pictures and showed off his ankle monitor in the above video clip. After being denied bail shortly after turning himself in, he requested a reasonable bond so he could continue to financially support his four children and mother.
YFN Lucci has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 28-year-old James Adams in December 2020. He and three others allegedly drove into rival gang territory before two men from inside Lucci s vehicle opened fire, wounding a man. One of the shooters was Adams, who was struck in the head by return fire before being manually ejected from Lucci s vehicle and left on a nearby street to die.
The 29-year-old was wanted by police for his alleged role in the shooting death of 28-year-old James Adams on Dec. 10. ET has reached out to reps for Lucci and his record label for comment.
The Atlanta Police Department previously told ET that officers were dispatched around 5:20 p.m. on Dec. 10 following a person shot call. Upon arrival, they found 28-year-old Adams laying in the street with a gunshot wound to his head. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Soon after, another victim, 32-year-old Kevin Wright, arrived at a fire station by private vehicle. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, but survived his injuries, the police said. Investigators determined the two shootings as possibly related. Police have also arrested 23-year-old Ra von Boyd and 17-year-old Leroy Pitts.

In new legal documents (obtained by TMZ), Lucci asked the judge to set a “reasonable bond” for him to be released so he can get back to work and continue providing for four underaged children whom he financially supports. The 28-year-old rapper provides a home in Fulton County, GA for his mother.
Other reasons he feels he should be released is that he has no felony criminal record and he feels he s not a flight risk. He argued he poses no significant threat or danger to any person, to the community, or to any property in the community.”
