The restaurant space and banquet facility can accommodate up to 300 people, according to the listing.
Since 1962 the club was a hub where members, who are shareholders, and the public alike could enjoy Portuguese food and socializing.
But the Academica Club was forced to shut down five years ago on Valentine s Day when the first floor was destroyed after a cast iron pipe in a second-floor bathroom cracked during a cold snap.
Before the burst pipe was discovered, the water ran for hours, saturating floors and walls and leaving three inches of water in the basement.
Since the flood, the club has struggled to fund the repairs to the gutted lower level of the building that was built in 1890.
