Royal Berkshire Hospital Concerns have been raised about the accessibility at Royal Berkshire Hospital, with the hospital confirming it will take action to improve the situation. Speaking at Reading Borough Council’s (RBC) Health and Wellbeing Board on Friday, Ramona Bridgman, chair of the Reading Family Forum, raised concerns about accessibility at the hospital. Reading Family Forum provides a voice for families of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Ms Bridgman said: It is not an accessible hospital and it needs to be for the 21st century. It is causing a lot of distress to a lot of disabled families.
