Alert Issued For Missing Hudson Valley Teen

Seen her? The Ramapo Police Department issued an alert for a teenager who was reported missing out of Chestnut Ridge and may be residing in New Jersey. Police said that Marghuri Dayana Flores-Tenezaca, age 15, was last seen wearing black and white checkered Vans sneakers, blue ripped jeans, a green soccer shirt, and red/blue Polo jacket earlier this week and has been reported missing by friends and family. Investigators noted that Flores-Tenezaca has a light birthmark on her upper right cheek, and she may be in the Paterson, New Jersey area. Flores-Tenezaca has no history of mental illness or substance abuse.

A Rockland County overdose victim was saved by the quick work of a police officer who administered Narcan.The incident took place on Monday, Jan. 4, when a Ramapo Police officer responded to a call in the Village of Sloatsburg for a repo.

Young Rockland Man Falls Victim To Romance Scam, Loses Thousands

Police are investigating a case where a young man fell victim to a romance scam. The woman in Rockland County told the man she was corresponding with through a dating app she needed some financial assistance with a business matter, Ramapo Police said. The woman said she would mail him a check to deposit into his bank account, and that he needed to mail back a check for a lesser amount – in essence, he was allowed to keep the difference for his trouble.  Days later, his bank contacted him saying that the check he deposited was bogus. He is now out several thousand dollars, Ramapo Police said.

Rockland Man Arrested For DWI At More Than Twice Legal Limit Following Crash

A Rockland County man was arrested for allegedly driving drunk during a two-vehicle traffic crash. Ramapo Police said the crash took place around 1:55 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, on Kantrowitz Lande in the Town of Ramapo.  Officers on the scene conducted an investigation and determined that one of the drivers was impaired by alcohol, police said. The driver, a 25-year-old man from Monsey was placed under arrest for DWI.  The man, whose identity was not released by police, was transported to RPD where he was processed and charged with: DWI
