Police chief finds 1,000 pills, LSD, marijuana during traffic stop in Rutland
RUTLAND The town s police chief netted a cache of prescription and street drugs along with more than $2,500 after stopping a car Monday afternoon because the driver was allegedly unlicensed.
Jake A. Robbins, 21, of 13 Orchard St., Millbury, was driving on Emerald Road near Rutland Nurseries where, court documents said, he works as a landscaper, when police Chief Nicholas Monaco checked the license plate on his red Ford Fusion.
The car was registered, but the driver, according to Monaco s report, was unlicensed because he had too many violations listed on his driving record.
