Oktoberfest set to return to Worcester in 2021

The festival, which was held in 2017, 2018 and 2019, has applied for a license to serve alcohol ahead of the planned festival, which will be held at Worcester Rugby Club in October. This is a change of venue for the festival, which was previously held at Worcester Racecourse. The licensing application requests permission to serve beer as well as holding dances live music for three nights in October, the 22nd, 23rd and 24th. A post on the Worcester Oktoberfest Facebook page confirmed the festival is returning.

The funds are from the gaming dollars from Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in East Hanover Township and available through the casino local share revenue program. The Dauphin County Gaming Advisory Board presented recommendations to the commissioners for recipients of funding. Those recommendations were made following application and hearing processes.
