Run The Damn Ball Run The Damn Ball has certainly been a controversial slogan for Coach Lake since he unveiled it. I m not sure, however, if all fans really understand what Lake (and Donovan) mean by that-but that s a subject for a different discussion. What I wanted to do with this fanpost is to look at whether UW was successful at running the ball. If they are going to do it, they should at least be successful doing it.
Unfortunately, we only have 4 games to go off of; and there were some extenuating circumstances (weather, being up by a lot, and being behind by a lot) that make it difficult to extrapolate a lot from such a small sample of plays. But, I thought that I would give it a try because that is the same set of data that everyone else is using to complain about it.
