Truck Manufacturer and European Road Haulage Provider Test Heavier Electric Powered Vehicle
Swedish Sites Chosen as Test Bed for Practical Application of Battery Powered HGVs
SWEDEN – EUROPE – As we recently pointed out, the search for a way to use electricity to power long range HGVs is akin to the search for the Holy Grail as far as truck manufacturers and road haulage operators are concerned.

DHL Freight, which provides road haulage across Europe, and Volvo Trucks are to commence worldwide first pilot tests of a fully electric Volvo FH truck with gross combination weights up to 60 tonnes.
