Gilman International Scholarship chosen from among more than 1,500 applicants.
The Gilman Scholarship is sponsored by the United States Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The program aims to make study abroad experiences accessible to a more diverse population of students and gives students the opportunity to gain a better understanding of other cultures, countries, languages and economies making them better prepared to assume leadership roles in government and the private sector.

Learn the best ways to protect yourself, your home and your family from fires during the holidays.According to the United States Fire Administration, two in five home-decoration fires are caused by unattended candles, and one in four Christmas tree fires is caused by home electrical problems.
Common sense says not to leave fireplaces unattended or place plants too close to your radiator. But the small flame of a candle or forgetting to water a live Christmas tree can be as dangerous.
