An expansion of vaccine eligibility was announced in Manitoba.
Lead on the Vaccine Task Force Dr. Joss Reimer states that all Manitobans over the age of 95, and all First Nations people over the age of 75, can now book an appointment for a vaccine.
Manitobans need to provide the numbers on their health card to make an appointment, which can be made by phone at 1-844-626-8222.
“But we know this can be challenging for some people so we’ve made sure that the call centre is aware that we are now allowing caregivers to make appointments and as well to accompany their loved ones to the clinic to provide support,” Remier noted.
