A Canora man facing several charges stemming from a stolen vehicle investigation, was back in Regina Provincial Court Thursday. On November 22nd, police in the Queen City spotted a black Audi that had been reported stolen, and tried to pull it over, but the driver sped away, leading cops on a chase that included the use of a spike belt. Officers ended the chase, but found the stolen vehicle parked on Highway 1, and eventually they found the suspect hiding in a field, where he was arrested. 27-year-old Chase Badham will be back in court April 1st, charged with offences including Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over Five-Thousand Dollars.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian kicker Brett Lauther.
Lauther (6’1-195lbs) returns to the Roughriders after two successful seasons in the Green and White.
In 2019, the Truro, Nova Scotia native played in 13 games making 32 of 41 field goal attempts (78%) including a career-high 57-yard field goal against Ottawa in Week 2.
