Greece at Eurovision
Greece debuted back in 1974, and they had results of varying success over the years until they managed to finish in 3rd place back in 2001. Four years later they took out the gold medal with Helena Paparizou’s My Number One , and then they went on to host the contest the following year in Athens.

Spain in Eurovision
Spain debuted in Eurovision all the way back at the sixth edition of the contest in 1961 and, as one of the largest financial contributors to the contest, has been guaranteed an automatic pass to the final since the introduction of the semifinals back in 2004.
Spain has provided Eurovision with two wins in their history: back-to-back wins in Massiel’s ‘La, la, la’ in 1968, and Salomé’s ‘Vivo cantando’ in 1969.

Iceland at Eurovision
Iceland have competed in 32 contests, debuting back in 1986. They have finished in the top 10 on six occasions, with their best result being 2nd place. They achieved this in both 1999 and 2009.

About the artist
Daði og Gagnamagnið is a group consisted of lead singer Daði Freyr and a group called Gagnamagnið (The Data) - Árný Fjóla Ásmundsdóttir (wife of Daði), Sigrún Birna Pétursdóttir (Daði s sister) and Hulda Kristín Kolbrúnardóttir, Stefán Hannesson and Jóhann Sigurður Jóhannson, who are all friends of Daði and Árný.
Malta in Eurovision Malta made their Eurovision debut in 1971 but after finishing last in their first two attempts took a two year break from the competition. They returned briefly in 1975 before withdrawing again, returning in 1991 and have competed in every year since. They have never won the competition but have made the Top 10 13 times. They have also finished in the top three four times – the only non-winning country to do so. Their best result is second place which they have achieved twice
Austria in Eurovision Austria debuted in Eurovision back at the second edition of the contest in 1957, and since the introduction of the semi-finals in 2004 have qualified for the grand final on seven out of twelve occasions.
