Just a few hours ago in London, South Korean Foreign Minister Chung Eui-young sat down with his U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken and his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi. Sources say the three discussed issues in the Pacific region, including North Korea.
It s widely believed that they exchanged views on the new U.S. policy on North Korea, now that the Biden administration has completed its review.
Washington has been stressing the need for cooperation with Seoul and Tokyo to bring Pyeongyang back to table for denuclearization.
The likely topics of discussion include the ROK-US alliance and North Korea issues.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin landed at Osan Air Base a few hours ago.
They are the first Cabinet-level officials to visit Seoul since President Biden took office. In about at hour or so, Blinken will be meeting with his South Korean counterpart Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong.
We also hear that Austin is now meeting his own South Korean counterpart, Defense Minister Suh Wook.
The South Korean government says it s suspending exchanges with the military of Myanmar and will ban shipments of military supplies to Myanmar.
Seoul has been expressing support for democracy there amid the crackdown on protesters against the recent military coup.

Jung-min, what s the latest? Sure Devin.
Seoul s foreign ministry announced this afternoon that it will halt any new projects or exchanges in defense and security with Myanmar s military. Those exchanges have mainly been in education.
Also, South Korea will NOT allow the export of military supplies to Myanmar, like tear gas, and will tighten its reviews of shipments of strategic materials used for industrial purposes.
