Driver medevaced after SUV collides with tractor-trailer on Alaska Highway
The Ford Edge SUV drove into the back of the tractor-trailer on Saturday, temporarily shutting down the Alaska Highway, RCMP say. The driver of the SUV was taken to Whitehorse General Hospital, then medevaced out of the territory.

RCMP say emergency personnel used the Jaws of Life to get the driver out of an SUV that collided with a tractor-trailer on the Alaska HIghway. The driver was later medevaced out of the territory.(RCMP)

Every year Christmas ornaments are hung on trees throughout the Judas Creek subdivision in the community of Marsh Lake.(Chris MacIntyre/CBC)
First there were four.
Then there were 12.
Now there are approximately 120 Christmas ornaments that line the road through the Judas Creek subdivision in Marsh Lake, Yukon. Not sure who is hanging them. It was done last year too. It s pretty to look at, says Judas Creek resident Patricia Phillips Kolachkosky.(Chris MacIntyre/CBC)
The Christmas ornaments started appearing on trees three years ago.
They start showing up the first week of December and can be seen until February when they are taken down.
