Chiba, which lost the last two finals to the Alvark Tokyo, put down feisty Utsunomiya in Tuesday's decisive Game 3 to claim its first-ever league championship.
The finals will feature the two top teams from the regular season. Utsunomiya led the league with an .817 winning percentage while the Jets were second at .754.

Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture – The Utsunomiya Brex punched their ticket to the B. League Finals with a 96-78 win over the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in Game 2 at Brex Area on Saturday that earned the club a sweep of their semifinal series.
Utsunomiya will be making its first appearance in the final round since the league’s inaugural season in 2016-17.
One day after a tight 68-65 win over Kawasaki, the Brex exploded for 96 points which ties the second-most the Brave Thunders have allowed in regulation this season.
Forward/center Ryan Rossiter had 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists to guide Utsunomiya to the win in Game 2.

Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture – The Utsunomiya Brex made sure to remind everyone that they are the best team in the league this season with a sweep of the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in the B. League playoff semifinals this past weekend.
Even though the Brex posted the B1’s top winning percentage (.817) after going 49-11, they entered the best-of-three home series as the challengers in a sense. The Brex were just 1-3 versus the Brave Thunders during the regular season and also lost their matchup in the Emperor’s Cup final in March.
In the postseason, however, the Brex responded better than many thought they would against Kawasaki, which had been viewed as a title contender since late in the season.
