JR Kyushu officially named its future
shinkansen station in Ureshino City (Saga) as ‘Ureshino-onsen.’ Since the station will be developed next to the Takeo-onsen Station of the new shinkansen route, the two stations will become the first-ever neighboring ‘onsen’ (hot spring) stations for JR Kyushu trains and
shinkansen. The company also announced another new station in Omura City (Nagasaki) as ‘Shin-omura.’
