In what Yreka Union High School District Superintendent Mark Greenfield called “the transition to normalcy,” students at Yreka High School will be attending classes on campus full time for the final two weeks of school, starting June 1.
The school board approved the move to a full time, in person schedule at its meeting on Wednesday.
“It is, in our opinion, vitally important to start this transition and get back to normal for all students as soon as we can,” said Greenfield, who is also the principal at YHS. “This year we have not had a single case (knock on wood) of COVID that could be traced to an exposure on campus or a campus activity.”
