HAMPTON ROADS Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) is saying thank you with complimentary tickets for our U.S. military members.
As a token of our appreciation for those who have served our country, BGW are offering all U.S. military veterans and active duty service members four free tickets for themselves and guests to BGW.
“We hold the men and women that have served in our armed forces in the highest regard, and are honored to host them at our parks as guests,” Busch Gardens Williamsburg noted.

YORK COUNTY Children with an interest in STEM fields can get their start with a kit from the York County Public Library.
Both the Tabb and Yorktown libraries are offering “Building Bridges Science Kits” between March 8-13, according to a Facebook post from the York County Public Library on March 7.
Children can use these kits to build bridges and test the structural integrity of their creation.
The kits are available at the Youth Services Department at each library and are recommended for children ages 5 to 12 years old.
“Explore your engineering skills,” according to the Facebook post. “Create and test some bridges. How strong is your bridge?”
Kids with a sweet tooth might want to check this out.
Itâs âCookie Weekâ at the York County Public Libraries and they are asking kids to help them find the gingerbread man.
âHelp us find the Gingerbread Man at the Tabb or Yorktown Library during Cookie week!â according to the eventâs flyer. âBring him to the Youth Services desk and receive your reward.â
In addition, kids ages 3 years and older can pick up a Cookie Activity Kit.
