When I was a junior in high school, I took home economics. Near the end of the school term, we were decorating cakes. My parents’ anniversary was in June, so it was the perfect time to make a beautiful anniversary cake for my project. It was going to be heart shaped with cascading roses, with the words “Happy Anniversary.” At least that was my plan.
The day we made the cakes, we were given permission to be out of our other classes. We had to be, to have enough time to make the frosting, decorations and cake. I don’t remember too many problems. The cake stuck a little, and was uneven. A little extra frosting and it looked good.
