A woman s body has been discovered in Melbourne s east, with police investigating if it is of a union worker who went missing 12 days ago.
The body was found in bushland at Willsmere-Chandler Park in Kew East about 5.05pm on Friday.
It is yet to be formally identified, but detectives are investigating whether the discovery is linked to the disappearance of Bridget Flack.
Ms Flack, 28, was last seen on Lygon Street on 30 November before telling a friend she was going for a walk at the Yarra Bend Park.
She never returned.
Ms Flack had been staying with a school friend and colleague in Carlton in the weeks before her disappearance.
