Kendall Arthur Poole, 38, was arrested on Thursday when specialist police and detectives raided a Yandina property and found Mr Poole and woman he was believed to be hiding with. The arrest marked the end of a five-day manhunt for Mr Poole who was wanted for questioning over several alleged offences including assault and armed robbery. The man suffered a serious head injury and had to be taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women s Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. A 38-year-old woman was also taken into custody and is assisting with inquiries. Poole is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday. Police are also investigating another incident where a group of teenagers at Coochin Creek were approached by a man and allegedly threatened with a machete.
